To our new organization - IS Incubators we are looking for candidates for the position of: IS Technology Leader - Big Data

Tasks:
• Take overall responsibility for a specific innovation area;
• Build and manage a team of experts: leading, mentoring, assigning tasks and assisting individual contributors in designing and developing large-scale cluster data processing systems;
• Guide the full architectural lifecycle of a Data Lake and a Big Data solution: requirements analysis, governance, technical architecture design (including hardware, OS, and network topology), application design, testing and deployment of PoCs;
• Define, influence and communicate technical direction, to make decisions, to be driven and work autonomously in order to ensure the successful implementation of solutions;
• Provide support to a learning organization model through coaching, training, and mentorship.

Requirements:
• Expert knowledge of design in Hadoop stack (e.g. MapReduce, Sqoop, Pig, Hive, HBase, Flume, Spark, Kafka, Java - Map Reduce) or equivalent;
• At least one project delivered at Production Scale on Hadoop stack or equivalent;
• Cloud integration (e.g. Mulesoft) experience is an advantage;
• Innovative mindset - able to deal with typical "start-up challenges", hands-on, can-do attitude;
• Expert in technology but also engaging with other teams and business stakeholders on any level;
• Ability to switch between details and holistic view;
• Respective leader, can motivate and persuade his/her team and stakeholders;
• Remains neutral and objective when it comes to analyzing facts and selecting solutions.
