In the Service department, our focus is to provide our clients with high quality and best possible production of their wind power plants. With our long standing excellent track record and service experience globally, we work to ensure that we manage our clients' plants effectively to get the most out of each turbines while upholding to our commitment to safety standards.

  • Reporting to the Service Director, the Head of Service Sales will have responsibility for all service business with the customer. This includes responsibility for all service sales to the customer, execution of all obligations under contract, safety of staff performing the account, account P&L, and customer relationship.
  • Account management
  • Develop and regularly review customer account plan
  • Keep management and stakeholders informed of progress and changes
  • Understand the customer decision making process
  • Develop close and positive relationships between key Vestas and key customer staff
  • Maximize the perceived value of Vestas services
  • Improve customer satisfaction
  • Service sales
  • Grow profitable business by:Identifying sales opportunities,Constructing offers,Sell services
  • Contract execution
  • Identify contractual obligations
  • Plan the actions and resources necessary to fulfil contractual obligations
  • Develop the necessary systems for fulfilling contractual obligations
  • Manage resources to achieve contractual obligations and P&L
  • Execute contract deliverables through employment of own resources and coordination with other departments where necessary.
  • Measure and validate execution
  • Validate sufficiency of execution
  • Ensure the correct systems are in place to allow Vestas to safely execute our contractual obligations
  • Work with customer to ensure a safe working environment for the execution of all contractual obligations
  • P&L responsibility
  • Manage the execution of contractual obligations to achieve revenue targets
  • Manage costs to realize margin targets
  • Manage account receivables to achieve cashflow targets
  • Resources
  • Hire and manage staff to ensure we have the appropriate resources to execute contractual obligations and meet margin targets safely
  • University degree in Business or related discipline
  • Qualification in engineering is desirable
  • Minimum 5-6 year service sales experience with a well-established multinational company in an industry with similar challenges
  • Good understanding of wind farm management is desirable
  • Good knowledge of managing full-cycle service sales
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English
  • Fluent in spoken and written Chinese
  • Strong business acumen, influencing skills and leadership capabilities
  • Strong persuasive and negotiating capability
  • Strong leadership capability in services delivery environment

  • Ability to achieve credibility and influence decision making executives within customer account
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills - able to manage high-level communication between Vestas and Customer
