Salary: £36,090 - £50,950

E.ON IT UK provide a full range of IT solutions and services to its customer base within the E.ON group. We're currently looking for experienced pro-active Business Analysts to join our growing IT Department. Working within a fast-paced environment and alongside a motivated team your primary accountabilities will be to assess, document and play a central part in the delivery of E.ON's project pipeline. To achieve this you will act as a primary interface between our IT Department and key business stakeholders.
The role requires a positive team-orientated individual capable of performing at a high level in achieving the following:
  • Prepare feasibility studies and assist in developing business cases for proposals e.g. problem definition, high-level designs, cost estimates, timescales, benefits, risks, issues etc.
  • Establish unambiguous business requirements; develop efficient functional solutions and produce clear and concise documentation to support and validate deliveries.
  • Ability to liaise with ease across all teams to manage project scope and corroborate the technical delivery with the business requirements.
  • Negotiate prioritisation calls with stakeholders and achieve consensus.
  • Identify measures to improve delivery, systems and customer satisfaction.

Essential skills:
  • Experience of having direct responsibility for all business analysis activities on IT software development projects.
  • Business Analysis experience involving process modelling, logical data modelling, requirement analysis and the production of business cases.
  • Experience producing requirements and functional specifications.
  • Exposure to all IT project life-cycle stages.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to translate complex technical details for non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to manage diverse stakeholders.
Desirable skills:
  • Educated up to degree level, with a strong academic record.
  • Experience of project delivery in retail, financial services or the energy sector.
  • Experience of both traditional IT projects and Agile development using SCRUM, Extreme Programming or similar methodologies.
