Position Description
We are currently seeking two permanent executive speechwriters to join our speechwriting team within Corporate Affairs at Saudi Aramco's global headquarters in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. The successful applicants will have outstanding communication skills, and a track record of writing and editing high quality, personalized and compelling speeches, talking points, op-eds, and correspondence for senior public officials and/or senior private sector executives. He/she will also be able to diplomatically engage, counsel, and influence senior executives, and be a fast learner able to work under pressure to tight deadlines on a wide range of subject matter.

Minimum Requirements
EDUCATION: A bachelor's degree or equivalent, although a master's degree is preferred.
EXPERIENCE: 5 years in corporate/government/NGO communications, including 3 years as a full-time speechwriter. Experience of different cultures and working for a multinational organization is an advantage.
LANGUAGE: English (mother tongue), as the successful applicants will only work on speeches in the company's official language.

Duties and Responsibilities
You will be required to:
Research, craft, and edit speeches and talking points for senior Saudi Aramco executives (typically at the Vice President level to begin with) to deliver speeches at a variety of domestic and international events.
Draft op-eds and executive correspondence as required.
Convey the company's key messages and thereby help to advance our strategic vision, yet do so in the voice of each speaker/writer.
Help identify strategic speaking opportunities for senior executives to reach key audiences.
Build trusted relationships with senior executives, their offices, proponents, and other key internal and external stakeholders.
In particular, work with our colleagues in Public Affairs so that key messages/storylines are conveyed through a variety of appropriate external and internal channels.
Immerse yourself in the company's rich heritage and ambitious future strategy, while adapting your skills to the unique Saudi Aramco environment, so that in time you are able to write for the Chairman and the CEO.
