We would be looking for someone to support the commercial management of complex structured products for import and export contracts for Business Power and Gas customers with combined annual revenue of c£3 billion. You will be ensuring cost structures reflect current and forecast market conditions and support the Industrial & Commercial (I&C) business. In this role you can also be expected to:
• Provide price, credit, cost, volume and hedging risk mitigation via appropriate terms and conditions.
• Interface closely with key stakeholders and internal customers to challenge, understand and provide meaningful and transparent communication of all credit, pricing and contract related requests.
• Be compliance to DoA levels, Risk Control modelling and internal sales delivery deadlines.
• Drive through process improvements to mitigate risks and errors, creating value through efficient and effective working. Anticipate problems and initiate corrective action.
You background will be in a similar role with an advanced level of numeric, commercial judgement and analytical skills. You will be rational thinker and have an analytical approach to data manipulation. You will ideally have commercial/analytical experience in the electricity and/or gas industry and preferably have good modelling skills in MS Excel/Access and VBA. The role holder will be able to cope well under pressure and have a good understanding of the wholesale, export and retail gas and electricity markets.
