Position Description
We are currently seeking an International Relations Specialist to work in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. The International Relations Specialist works with business lines to plan, implement, and evaluate media communications programs to support business objectives, and protect and build company reputation.
The International Relations Specialist also supports the company's crisis communications activities, crisis preparedness, and media handling during crisis incidents.

Minimum Requirements
Essential: A bachelor's degree in a communications, public relations, English, or arts related field.
Preferred: MBA or higher degree.
Minimum 8+ years of experience in communications, public relations, or media relations, gained from either agency or in-house communications setting, ideally in energy, oil and gas sectors.
Native English speaker with an excellent English language oral and written communications ability.
Confident communicator and presenter.
Strong corporate acumen and understanding of business drivers.
Able to prioritize and manage multiple projects and initiatives, and respond calmly to changing situations.
Able to simplify complex issues and act sensitively on confidential issues.
Strong interpersonal and proven teamwork skills.
Strong understanding of international media, including in the Middle East region and interest in international affairs.

Duties and Responsibilities
Develops core support materials required for communications plans: press releases, briefing documents, Q&As, etc.
Able to confidently interact with senior and executive management to develop, refine, improve, implement, and evaluate communications plans.
Ensures materials are prepared to consistent Saudi Aramco standards and ensures systematic adherence to Saudi Aramco processes.
Supports the unit's media outreach and media monitoring activities.
Supports the company's crisis communications requirements.
