Job summary
Generates revenue by soliciting and obtaining orders; understanding and interpreting technical requirements; providing technical information; developing accounts utilizing telephone, fax, e-mail services.

Summary of essential job functions
Initiate cold calls to targeted lists to sell our products and services Deliver on performance goals / quotas associated with developing, pursuing and closing sales
Document, track, and monitor all leads and sales activities in Maximizer
Enjoy talking on the phone and making 10+ calls per hour
Builds and maintains positive, productive relationships with accounts, resolving product and/or service issues promptly and ensuring excellent customer service
Maintains in good condition an adequate supply of all available marketing materials to help sell company products and take advantage of any marketing opportunity
Maintains ongoing communication with Sales Manager with regard to competitive activity/pricing/programs/problems/opportunities with current/prospective customers
Maintains orderly, legible records by accurately completing all appropriate forms
Ensure that all records/paperwork are communicated as appropriate to the Sales Manager
Maintain a neat and professional appearance and represent the company in a professional manner at all times
Obtain and/or possess detailed knowledge of equipment specifications and condition
Has an up to date customer information utilizing the Maximizer program
Maintain a list of prospects at all times and update weekly
Have Sales Manager's approval on all signage and special pricing

Minimum requirements
High school degree or equivalency; college degree preferred
Must have experience in telemarketing, outbound phone sales, and cold calling
Excellent communication and follow up skills
Proficient in Word and Excel
Willingness to learn about recycling industrial equipment
Attention to detail is a must
Tenacious and results oriented self-starter with strong teamwork skills

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to sit, talk and hear, frequently required to walk and occasionally required to stand and occasionally lift/move up to 10 - 25 pounds, occasionally climb to heights of 8-10 feet above ground
