You are an experienced Engineer with at least 8-10 years of experience in linear infrastructure design and management, rehabilitation, and condition assessment of linear water and wastewater systems. Mandatory technical skills in: CCTV, NASSCO PACP/MACP/LACP, WrC, Trenchless, CIPP, HDD, Pipe bursting, Sliplining, InfoWorks, Hydraulic Analysis, NASTT. 


You are focused on the leadership and management of conveyance projects and programs for CH2M's clients. The incumbent is responsible for the delivery of multiple and/or large projects. This position understands how projects impact the business group's and firm's performance. The incumbent provides motivation and direction to the project team(s).This position is also responsible for leading the development and execution of unique and/or customized technology solutions for CH2M projects. You have thorough knowledge of your own subject area or discipline and basic knowledge of others, and understand the objectives of the area and related regulatory and/or industry requirements and practices. You work independently to carry out complex activities.

Work is guided by area or assignment objectives. This position may train new team members; generate solutions based on the integration of multiple data sources from a variety of areas; and use technological advances in work to improve quality, results and efficiency.
  • Manages projects of all sizes including large complex projects. 
  • Acts as one of the company's prime contacts with the client and is responsible for overall work progress and technical performance on the project.
  • Manages projects of all sizes including large complex projects.
  • Leads and manages the project team through all phases of project planning, execution, and closeout, consistent with established project delivery processes to the meet the scope, schedule, budget and other specified requirements stated in the contract.
  • Completes the scope of work to the satisfaction of the client, while simultaneously ensuring that CH2M's HS&E, quality, financial, risk management; business and policy expectations are met.
  • May play a strong role in the business development activities leading to the award of the contract.
    • This could include client relationship development, project-specific positioning activities, proposal preparation, oral presentation, and contract negotiation consistent with established business development processes. 
  • Identifies schedule and cost variances and develops and implements recommendations for corrective action.
  • Under minimal-to-general supervision, independently evaluates, selects and applies standard engineering techniques and procedures.
  • Prepares specifications and drawings.
  • Writes control system descriptions.


The minimum qualifications for this position are:
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of strong technical design and project management experience including linear infrastructure design, rehabilitation, and condition assessment.
  • Mandatory technical skills in: CCTV, NASSCO PACP/MACP/LACP, WrC, Trenchless, CIPP, HDD, Pipe bursting, Sliplining, InfoWorks, Hydraulic Analysis, NASTT are required.
  • B.Sc. degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • PMP or equivalent preferred.
  • A proven track record of successful business development, and of fostering client relationships.
  • Experience delivering new concepts, approaches and foresight in wastewater engineering.
  • Eligible for or holds Professional Engineers of Ontario membership.
