Training Manager - Transport / Rail Permanent London £44,000 - £48,000 + Fantastic Benefits! The Background This is a fantastic opportunity for a Training Manager to work for a global leading business within the transportation industry. As Training Manager you'll be responsible for managing all aspects of the identification of training need, design, delivery, assessment and verification processes for in-house job-related training and competency assessment. The Role As Training Manager, you'll work closely in partnership with Operational Management, EHS, HR and Trainers/Assessors to develop a robust training and development functional and role based (maintenance, manufacturing and safety critical) competency assessment process. You'll directly manage and coordinate the Assessors across the business, to develop a standard efficient and robust training competency assessment process and identify effective ways to fully utilise internal training and reduce the cost of external training. You You'll be Qualified in Learning and development and ideally you'll have an Engineering qualification/ background. A Trainer / Teacher qualification background and a sound knowledge of rail industry / group standards would be beneficial.
