Wind Farm Area Manager - Home based, East Lothian site
Natural Power is a leading international renewable energy consultancy. We provide expert services to the renewable energy industry in the development, construction and operational phases of renewable energy projects. To facilitate the growth of our Asset Management business we are currently recruiting an Area Manager in the above location as part of our UK Asset Management team.
The Asset Management Business of Natural Power is one of Europe’s leading independent providers of Management Services for wind farms, providing services on one quarter of the UK’s installed onshore wind capacity for both major utilities and independent power producers. We provide award-winning excellence in health and safety management combined with unique software tools and procedures to ensure maximum efficiency in wind farm operations for our Clients. Our aim is to manage, co-ordinate and control clients operating assets safely and efficiently while maximising production.
Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Wind Farm Area Manager in the East of Scotland. Ideally located in East Lothian, the Borders or the surrounding area, you will be responsible for managing our Wind Farm Managers in the East of Scotland.
Your primary role will be to ensure that all sites are operated and maintained in accordance with the Site Management Agreements, current Health, Safety and Environment regulations and guidance; and Natural Power policies and procedures.
Below are the duties and responsibilities associated with this job.
As a qualified engineer, you will be able to demonstrate significant previous engineering experience, specifically with electro-mechanical systems. Previous High Voltage operation and maintenance experience is desirable including the relevant qualifications and experience as a Senior Authorised Person. With overall responsibility for Health and Safety in your region, it is essential that you will have previous experience in this area. You will also be used to working within a highly regulated working environment and in accordance with a variety of different management systems.
Ideally SAP qualified, you will come from the same industry or similar such as power plant management.
You must hold a full UK driving license and will be able to maintain a reasonable level of personal fitness for the safe climbing of Wind Turbines.
