The Team A highly qualified and experienced team of Project Managers, Engineers and Health and Safety professionals with a proven track record in supporting the development, pre-construction and construction phases of a wind farm development. Our services have assisted Clients with more than 550MW of wind plant through construction, and with an additional 650MW at various stages of construction through to the operational phase and beyond.
The Opportunity Due to our success in the market, we are looking to recruit an Assistant Project Manager in to our London office. Report directly to the Senior Project Manager you will play a pivotal role in the implementation of the wind farm construction process from initial development through to operational handover to the client. Duties and responsibilities include:
Knowledge & Experience You will be degree qualified in a technical field such as Civil, Structural, Electrical or Mechanical engineering, or other relevant technical qualification. You will have previous experience or an understanding of the management of construction projects from an engineering perspective. Highly advantageous to your application would be experience gained within the wind energy market, as would an understanding of project management, project finance and health & safety. You will be highly meticulous, organised and self-motivated with and ability to work unsupervised to strict deadlines with an often conflicting workload. You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with an ability to build and develop relationships with key stakeholders involved in projects. You must hold a full driving licence as the position requires frequent travel throughout the UK and Ireland. The ability to maintain a reasonable level of fitness is required as you will be visiting remote sites on foot. You will be primarily based at our Central London office, with occasional travel to other NP offices.
