A market leading, multi-national bulk handling organisation is looking for a Contract Engineer / Project Engineer to take multiple projects from site measurement stage through to customer completion. You'll utilise market leading cloud technology (similar to Microsoft Projects) and handle a variety of bulk handling / materials handling projects. There is the option to travel worldwide and if desired to take secondments in places such as China. The role has come around due to continued growth and demands both within the department and within the markets they serve. Typical machinery could involve bulk feeders, vibration feeders, screw conveyors and similar heavy duty equipment. When a new project comes on board you'll visit the customer site for a site survey. This will enable you to check the equipment fits and suggest any changes the customer may have to make. Typically, this is done with AutoCAD or similar CAD software and you'll capture factory layout, foundation layout and note if there are any instillation issues. Next, you'll liaise with all internal departments from mechanical design through to procurement and ensure a successfully completed project. As Project Engineer / Contracts Engineer you'll ideally: *Have project management experience and follow a logical path *Have knowledge of bulk handling machinery ideally within heavy process industries *Be highly customer focussed *Have knowledge of Gantt Charts and Project Manager software *Have experience with site surveys and AutoCAD *Have a strong mechanical knowledge Key Points for the Project Engineer / Contracts Engineer: *The company has grown from a turnover of £2M to £15M in around 15 years *There are examples throughout the company of people starting at the bottom and rising to director level *Secondments abroad are option, otherwise you'll travel abroad around once every two months At this point interviews slots are available for Thursday 11th and Friday 12th of October.
