A leading engineering organisation is looking for Lead Electronics Engineers to join the team in Leicestershire. The company specialise in the Automotive, Power Systems and Avionics sector and work globally in the EU, US and Far East. As a Lead Electronics Engineer you'll apply electronics and electrical engineering design and prototype build skills in the development of systems and components. You'll provide safe and reliable designs to products and systems with a focus on electrical safety and EMC. You'll be involved in fault finding at PCB and component level and be familiar with electro-mechanical knowledge. This position will involve leading a small team of engineers and signing off and approving programmes of work. This position will involve regular interaction with internal and external clients. You… Ideally you'll have held a similar role, with a background in Electronics and Electrical Engineering. Experience working in the automotive sector on Electro-Mechanical products would be advantageous. Familiarity with PCB design/assembly, electrical panel design, CE marking and/or microprocessors would be beneficial for this role.
