As a Mechanical Engineer… You'll produce 3D CAD Designs using packages such as Solidworks, Inventor. Pro-E etc. You'll work on the full lifecycle from concept through to design and manufacture stages. Working on the concept you'll ensure safe design of products and systems. You'll liaise with the manufacturing team utilising your knowledge of manufacturing processes for prototyping and concept development whilst applying the appropriate calculation methods for mechanical design. You… Ideally you'll have held a similar Mechanical Engineering or Design Engineering role. 3D CAD experience using software such as Solid works, Pro Engineer and Inventor or equivalent would be desirable. Knowledge of manufacturing processes for prototyping would be advantageous. Familiarity with Fuel Cell or Hydrogen technologies would be beneficial.
