ELP Maintenance Supervisor Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 Bristol - Avonmouth The challenge: A leading Recycling and Waste Management business is looking to recruit a Maintenance Supervisor for their facility in Avonmouth, Bristol. The Role: Reporting to the ELP Plant Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for the safe, environmentally compliant and efficient maintenance of the facility. The successful candidate will work closely with other members of the Operations Team as well as service providers. Responsibilities of the role include: *Maintaining maintenance, compliance and safety standards. *Maintaining efficient working practices and work to maintenance procedures. *Set Up and management of the facility Maintenance Management System. *Management of maintenance spares and liaison with suppliers. *Production of routine maintenance task schedules and supervisor of the operations team while they complete those tasks. *Assisting with the training of plant operations staff to carryout routine maintenance activities. *Identify local service suppliers and obtain quotations for service contracts in line with business needs. *Assisting with the initial set-up, commissioning and optimisation of the plant. *Review, update and develop operational procedures as required. *Maintain the operational function of the plant by inspection and prompt fault diagnosis. *Liaison with the site maintenance team to ensure effective relationships are developed and maintained. *Cover for the MRF Maintenance Supervisor during absences. *Promoting a safety conscious attitude through safe systems of work and accurate and timely reporting of incidents. *PLC/SCADA systems maintenance and problem solving. *Instrumentation calibrations. You: Ideally, you'll have a HNC qualification or equivalent in Control and Instrumentation and will have experience of Maintenance Supervision in a manufacturing / process environment. Additionally, you'll have experience of PLC and SCADA coding / troubleshooting experience would be advantageous.
