Works Manager Offshore

One of our clients is a leading international contractor specializing in dredging, marine engineering and offshore projects (oil, gas and wind). For this company we are currently looking for a Works Manager Offshore, to ba based in the Netherlands.

The position
As a Works Manager you are in charge of the project team. You will be responsible for the project’s technical execution and for the efficient deployment of staff and equipment.

Other duties:
- Drawing up the work schedule and consolidated project reports.
- Providing information to the Project Manager and other parties involved.
- Coming up with creative technical solutions that enable you to complete a project successfully with the resources available.
- Within our safety rules and quality standards, maximizing the operational result and profits.

Requirements
- A higher professional qualification in civil engineering, and preferably a VOL VCA certificate.
- A minimum of six years work experience in offshore projects.
- Willingness to work abroad for an average of eight months a year.
- Ambition to transfer knowledge and liking to teach others.
- A team player who is focused on getting results and who has strong analytical skills.
- Good command of the English language and preferably other languages.
