The Wells Team Leader is an experienced individual capable of leading a small project team in planning and drilling a well with strong technical as well as project management skills. The role is critical in ensuring the well delivery process and well management systems are properly applied and to ensure the team is adequately resourced and managed to deliver the required scope of work. Adherence to all regulatory and compliance requirements are a given.
· DDegree qualified in a technical discipline you will need considerable Drilling Operations experience including: o Implements the Senergy well delivery process for the assigned projects, ensuring process adhere to internally published standards
o Co-ordinate and control sourcing of equipment for well operation activities with due regard to safety, quality, schedule and cost
o Manage the well operations team, setting and achieving performance targets individually and collectively
o Accurate and timely reporting of performance against the agreed standards
o Liaise with rig team and sub-contractor operational personnel and attend well planning meetings
o Approve detailed cost estimations for planned well operations
o Attend daily onshore operations meetings
o Ensure operations are carried out according to work programmes and plans
o Identify operational/technical deficiencies and obtain satisfactory solutions
o Manage the quality of operations by ensuring they are carried out to the required standards
o Ensure the correct compilation, recording, maintenance, and reporting of well operations data
o Keep abreast of new technologies and techniques to aid continued improvement to well operations
o Check and approve invoices for well services activities
o Proactively seek opportunities to enhance safety in day to day operations
o Carry out risk assessments where appropriate as part of the operational planning process
