Senior HVDC Engineer - HVDC - Wind Energy - Sweden A Senior HVDC Engineer is required by a global consulting and engineering company dedicated to balanced sustainability within the power industry. The engineer is required to help further develop their HVDC systems for wind power grid connections among others. The successful candidate will be fluent in Swedish and have at least 5 years working within the HVDC industry - preferably with power industry focus. Within this experience you will have touched on all of the major responsibilities that you would be required to do in this role - design, project management, construction and client facing. You need not be an expert but you must be able to demonstrate examples of this experience. You will be primarily involved in the study, design and building of new electronic transfers internally within Sweden as well linking Sweden to external grids and platforms. Despite having projects focussed on a number of different areas you will be expected to become an expert in HVDC wind connected platforms. You will be hired in a consultant capacity so will be permanently hired by my client and then you will be sent out to work for different companies on different projects. Your duties will range from feasibility studies through to specification writing for plants and transfers as well as witnessing customer and acceptance testing. You will also see yourself take on such tasks as project management as well as various forms of technical assistance and procurement.
