The individual will work with their in house project managers, technical teams and external consultants. Our client is currently expanding their offshore service provision and are therefore seeking a senior project manager with experience in Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) co-ordination, which would include experience in the offshore discipline. The ideal candidate will hold a relevant degree (or equivalent level qualification) and will be a highly motivated, personable individual who can work unsupervised. You will have the ability to be flexible while adhering to strict deadlines and with an ability to communicate effectively and to manage consultants. Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential along with experience of building and maintaining effective and profitable relationships. Strong planning, time management and project management skills are also a requirement of this post. Managing and working to budget will be a required element of your job. You will have good IT skills with competency within MS Office suite being essential. Training will be provided where necessary. A driving license is essential as the role requires travel throughout the UK. The ability to maintain a reasonable level of fitness is also a requirement.
