My client is seeking four NEBOSH General qualified Health & Safety Managers to work on commercial sites UK wide. Working in the alternative energy market they are keen to have candidates who have worked on building sites or within the energy sector. Specialising in solar energy, wind energy, thermal insulation and heat pumps for domestic and commercial buildings, any candidates with this background would be desirable although this is not essential. Duties: *Supporting the contract and project managers in effectively controlling H&S on site *Liaising with clients to ensure client requirements are maintained *Fulfilling CDM commitments *Operational site & premises support, inspections and auditing *Internal management system audits *Completion of risk assessments *Site / engineer visits *Employee communication, education and training *Accident and incident investigation and analysis *Ensure that a professional and courteous approach is adopted at all times *Provide site management as required dependant on activities and locations The main requirements for the role: NEBOSH general certificate (NEBOSH Diploma desirable) H&S experience within Construction/Building/Social Housing CDM experience essential Project and Site Management experience desirable Training in fire risk assessments desirable The enthusiasm to grow with the business Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise from board level to site level.
