A leading petrochemical company involved in the development of process engineering technology solutions has a new opportunity for a Process Engineer. The role: Your objective will be to apply sound engineering principles to provide process support and understanding to our manufacturing facilities. Working as part of a team, you will also be involved in development of process engineering technology solutions to enhance our production processes. Ideally with a PhD or degree in Chemical Engineering with significant relevant experience, you will have a high standard of scientific rigour, be creative, self-motivated and well organised. You will be expected to interface with all aspects of the business so effective communication skills are essential. Chemical engineering knowledge, numeracy, IT and sound practical skills are essential as is the ability to apply engineering concepts to identify new opportunities. You should have or be able to achieve Chartered Engineer status. The production environment is challenging and fast-paced and candidates should be able to display a clear ability to successfully manage their own time and workload. In addition, proven experience in technical report writing and project management skills is essential. International travel will also be required to provide support to our manufacturing operations throughout the European region.
