A market leader for advanced digestion solutions for the water and waste industries. Whose business focus is the treatment of waste - biosolids and biowaste, and converting it into renewable energy and quality bi-products are seeking a Project Manager to deliver and develop a healthy pipeline of AD plant opportunities

 

Main roles and responsibilities will include:

  • To lead the Project Team, working in a proactive and co-operative manner to successfully deliver the agreed targets and Business Plan Objectives.
  • To ensure the quality of your team and provide motivation and support to others. to be accountable for their h+s and development
  • Responsible for budget control of the project and to ensure deadlines are met with project delivered to schedule.
  • To design and engineer tenders and projects that are fit for purpose and compliant with the contract specification.
  • To convene meetings with internal and external stakeholders, as required, to ensure progress is maintained.
  • To be responsible for the implementation and currency of any legislation, for which you are named.

The ideal Candidate will have :

  • Degree qualified engineering discipline ( E.G. Process, Civil, Mechanical, Electrica, Chemicall)
  •  Proven Project Management background in, Energy from Waste / Wastewater treatment sector OR the Energy industry with knowledge of anaerobic digestion (AD) / biogas or Process led waster infrastructure schemes.
  • End-to-end project management & delivery · Knowledge of process equipment and design principles. ·
  • Commercially competent with contracts and previous experience at contractual negotiation stage and finalising terms of the commercial and technical parameters, obligations, implications, risks and responsibilities.
  •  Ability to deliver on time, budget and mitigate all risks.with good understanding of UK legislative requirements. ·
  • Full driving licence
  •  Previous site management experience would be desirable with Project Management qualification/ membership
