My Client is one of the World's leading international Oil and Gas companies. Their business is the exploration, production, refining, trading and distribution of energy.
This role creates an ideal opportunity to become part of the GPO Global Subsea Hardware Team, having the opportunity to bring in-depth subsea sector procurement understanding & knowledge to support one of the largest current Project subsea portfolios in the Oil and Gas sector.

The Role
The GSH Team Lead will be part of the Global Projects Organisation (GPO) that has responsibility for the delivery of all Upstream Projects Worldwide, accountable for the delivery of a Global Portfolio of over 45 Major Projects. The GSH Team Lead will be an integral part of GPO's Global Subsea Hardware Team deployed into the North Sea Procurement and Supply Chain Management (PSCM) team that currently manages the North Sea's portfolio of Major Capital projects. The position will lead a team of Subsea Procurement Specialists and report directly to the PSCM Subsea Contracts Manager. The role will require you to utilise your experience and procurement knowledge at the strategic level supporting both the on-going management of the existing suite of Subsea projects, procurement activity and having contributory subsea business overview, in relation to new projects as they come on stream.

You
Ideally you'll be educated to a degree or equivalent level within a relevant Engineering, Business, or Technical discipline, or you'll have the equivalent relevant experience within a Procurement, Supply Chain or Subsea Projects position. You'll have Projects background with a track record of delivery in the Oil and Gas Industry and experience of category responsibilities in the Sub-Sea Sector. You'll have a previous experience using PSCM systems and tools such as Maximo, Ariba or ProCon and be an effective influencer at Senior Management Levels.
