Reservoir Geologist Dubai, UAE Full Expat Package Tax Free Salary Job Purpose To perform, as part of a team, integrated reservoir modeling studies incorporating all G&G, Petrophysics and reservoir information available. *Candidate is expected to support drilling and development decisions. *Close liason with dynamic reservoir modellers in the study team and with the economist in Business Planning. Educational Qualifications & Experience Profile: *7 + years of experience *Degree in Geology (geophysics or reservoir engineer might be considered if relevant experience) *Experience in building 3D static geomodels. *Experience in integrating core data (PHI and K) and SCAL (to build saturation functions) *Experience in support of field development planning and uncertainty analysis. *Experience in development well planning and execution (including high angle / horizontal wells). *Some operational Geology (wellsite). *Middle-East experience would be considered a plus but not essential. Key Accountabilities *Interpret and integrate seismic data with geological reservoir information to provide characterisation for input into subsurface models *Quantify reservoir risk and uncertainty and integrate with volumetric calculations *Perform subsurface business decision and risk analysis: uncertainty analysis, geostatistics and value of information assessment *Define reservoir characterisation parameters (porosity, permeability etc) and integrate production data *Create 3D static geomodels and iterate with Reservoir Engineers to support business development decisions.
