My Client is looking to recruit a Project Engineer to join their busy Automotive company to create and control a global Seating Project for a duration of 2 years. You will be the first point of contact for all technical issues, so a sound knowledge of Engineering within an Automation industry is a must. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: *Responsible for the BOM and change Management *Work closely with the Program Manager *CAD model release to suppliers *Change management processes - PLM system *Reporting of project issues and potential resolutions *Test and Development DV/PV *Presentations for project progress *Checking of data prior to project release EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS: *Previous experience within an Automotive industry *Experience (preferably) of Seating *Ability to check CADs and advise CAD Engineer *Previous experience of BOM's (Bill of Materials) *Degree in Engineering or equivalent *Sound knowledge of Word and Excel *Excellent communication skills PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: *Knowledge of seat structures and seat complete engineering *Knowledge of trim/foam and plastics *Knowledge of M/S Project *DFMEA qualified to User Level We are always seeking Engineering Staff, Senior Managers, Skilled and Semi Skilled Machinists, Mechanical Fitters, Electrical Fitters, Quality Engineers, Materials Science Engineers, Maintenance Engineers, Electronics Engineers, Test Technicians, Technical Authors, Electricians and Laboratory Technicians to name but a few.
