Job description:
To provide leadership of team accountable for preparation, executing and reporting of the well operation. To ensure that annual financial, safety and environmental targets are met. Develop annual budget for operation To ensure provision of adequate resources to the team Focal point for contact whit rig contractor and the present operator Performance assessment and constant improvement of the operation Follow-up of all third party supply contracts. Monitor performance and encourage excellence. Participation in emergency response. Effective management of resources and associated costs Mentor drilling engineers and drilling supervisors Establish and follow up maintenance monitoring and evaluate/encourage rig improvements based on value Maintain performance and well operation to have constant understanding of performance limiters and focus of attention for improvement Drive an operational and HSE performance culture visible to the client Advise immediate superior on issues affecting performance, morale, costs, etc that have an impact on performance Establish a cooperative and win win relationship with clients and encourage team spirit Set behavioral and professional standards in the team that impress clients and keep the team unified and motivated Pursue the adoption of new technology if value added Plan for risk identification and mitigation at an early stage in the well planning process and communicate the measures adopted or advised to the clientFor more information about this role please contact our London office
