We now have an opportunity for an E,C and I Engineer looking for variety in their project work across decommissioning and nuclear new build to work across our national client base from our Warrington office.

 

 

Requirements
 
We would expect you to have relevant experience within a highly regulated nuclear sector with the following experience and qualifications:
  • Qualified to a minimum of HNC level and preferably have a good relevant engineering degree and be able to demonstrate sound technical experience.
  • Conventional/nucleonic instrumentation.
  • Safety Instrumented Systems, Programmable Logic Controllers, Fire Detection Systems.
  • Safety standards (IEC 61508, 61511, 61513), SIL categorisation & safety lifecycle.
  • Previous nuclear power station or nuclear industry experience.
  • Availability, Reliability & Maintainability.
  • Automation system design.
  • Electrical Distribution Design.
Successful candidates will be required to undergo a security vetting process and offers of employment will be subject to relevant security clearance being granted
 
Nuclear industry experience would be an advantage however we are principally looking for first class E, C&I engineers who have the capacity to learn and develop their skills for the nuclear industry.

Responsibilities
 
Key Responsibilities will include:
  • E, C&I equipment specification, assessment & justification.
  • Front End Engineering Design package generation.
  • Liaison with clients, suppliers & contractors.
  • Providing support to Senior Engineers as appropriate.
  • Site surveys as required.
  • Detail Design.
  • Providing support in developing estimates for various projects as required.
