Project Manager - Turnaround Mech. E&I Major Oil & Gas Plant Turn Arounds Qatar Salary Guideline - £70000 pa + furnished accomodation, car,schooling, flights, bonus etc The Company: We are recruiting a Project Manager with experience in the Oil & Gas Sector to be based in Qatar for our Multi National client They undertake construction projects throughout the UK and extensively in the Middle East as part of their Group of Companies They are one of the world's foremost support services and construction companies, operating in the public and private sectors in the UK and internationally. They offer advice, design, construction, equipment and facilities management services for society's infrastructure. They are based in the UK and have revenue of £1.9 billion and a workforce of 50,000 people worldwide. The Role: Project related competencies Manages overall Turn Around activities implemented through the contract Responsible for Turn Around Delivery, Safety, Quality, Cost and Schedule Manages all operational aspects of a Major Turn Around scheduled for 24/7 operation Reviews and executes Turn Around work plans and schedules the preparation of work packs, crane studies, lifting plans etc. Responsible for the control of Sub contractors and vendors Ensures proper project coordination between departments like Safety, Engineering, Fabrication, Procurement, Logistics, QA/QC, Estimating, H/R and Commercial Ensures Project reports are Clear, Concise, Accurate and submitted on time Your background: You will have a Mechanical background and possess a Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized Institution or other Professional Project Management Institution or equivalent You will have experience working in the Oil & Gas Industry with some as a Project Manager executing Major TurnArounds You'll have good interpersonal skills and ability to lead a team of Mech.
