A leader in the engineering industry is looking to recruit a Technical Lead to lead the specification, design, prototyping and development of power systems for automotive vehicles. This role will give you the opportunity to lead specialist engineering teams and make a name for yourself in a constantly expanding market. As the Technical Lead … You'll define & implement technical support and problem-solving programmes for vehicle reliability trials in the UK. You'll establish effective working relationships with company specialists in R&T, test, manufacturing engineering and procurement, be they in the UK, the US or elsewhere. You'll communicate and negotiate technical issues clearly and accurately between the customer and internal teams, presenting an image of professionalism and integrity to both. You'll ensure that internal R&T, design, test and manufacturing development programmes are set up to deliver to the requirements. You… You'll ideally be educated to degree / equivalent level in a relevant engineering/physics discipline and you'll have working experience of developing power systems for the automotive industry. You'll have a working knowledge of fluid mechanical systems, systems engineering and requirements management. You'll have a history of building successful relationships with suppliers of components/services and a proven ability to share technical knowledge.
