Information Architect (Enterprise) - data, information, process/governance and design A UK utilities major is looking for an Enterprise Information Architect to design and deliver strategy and processes in line with regulatory requirements, to be based in Reading, with an immediate start date (notice allowable). The environment is data heavy, as their cost and profit calculations, and the business' ability to remain compliant with their Regulator is totally dependent on their data management and reporting ability. In the near future, the intensity of data is set to increase dramatically with the development and deployment of SMART metering and networks. This Information Architect will play a key role in defining how this UK Major handles, processes and stores it's data, and in doing so adheres to all regulatory documentation and change. Due to the nature of the Utilities industry - it would be highly advantageous to be applying from a Utilities, Asset (ie. Networks/Rail/Freight/Airports etc.), or Telecoms background.
