Senior Data Engineer A leading service provider is seeking a number of experienced Data Engineers to join its growing team operating out of Aberdeen, UK. Work will be offshore North Sea with a 2week / 2 week rotation. The Company desires experienced Data Engineers to fast-track into Optimisation. Above competitive remuneration EU Work Permit Required 3 years Data Engineering minimum This is a safety critical role and all candidates are required to operate to the highest safety standards. The Data Engineer is responsible for the accurate and factual collection, distribution and analysis of drilling and geological information. The Data Engineer monitors and evaluates well conditions and reports all anomalies to the client's representatives. They are responsible for running the data aquisition system, drilling related sensors around the rig and gas equipment inside the mudlogging unit. They ensure that the unit is organised and administered according to standard procedures and in accordance with the client's requirements. Applicants for these positions should have a Geology, Petroleum Engineering, Earth Science or related science degree. Applicants must have good communications skills, be proficient at computer operation, trend monitoring, data handling and processing, be enthusiastic and able to work independently and as part of a team.
