EHS Advisor Ulverston £competitive This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a large biopharmaceutical manufacturing site in the North West. In the role of EHS Advisor you will be responsible for providing management of Process Safety, Loss Prevention and other EHS aspects on a complex and highly regulated manufacturing premises. In this role you will support and promote the highest levels of Process Safety Management and Loss Prevention consistent with both legal requirements and the client's own standards. Other responsibilities will include: Development and provision of training and coaching to staff and management on Process Safety. Coordination of Process Safety and other EHS assessments Development, implementation & monitoring of Process Safety targets and metrics Investigation of EHS near misses and adverse events Involvement in and leadership of EHS Level 1, 2 and 3 Audits as appropriate Overseeing of Serious Emergency Response standards and training and associated procedures Supporting the EHS team as required, advising rest of site in EHS matters. Deputise for Site EHS Lead as necessary You will be degree qualified or equivalent in chemical engineering or a relevant technical discipline, with specific experience and expertise in Process Safety ideally within a pharmaceutical or similar high-risk manufacturing environment. You will ideally have a NEBOSH Diploma in Health and Safety or an equivalent HSE qualification.
