We have an ongoing requirement for Electrical Maintenance Engineers to join our clients team on a MOD site. Key accountabilities * Routine & Non Routine - Using a high degree of skill and high technical ability carry out a wide range of Maintenance activities efficiently and in a timely manner on Plant and Equipment * Apply a range of Technical Fault finding skills within own discipline. Gather plant data and analysis result, using a range of techniques * Generate, review, comment on all maintenance documentation & reports as requested. Provide full & accurate information on all maintenance reports e.g. AMS dockets etc * Implementation of Modifications as directed by TTS * Sourcing of spares as required in order to carry out a) & c) above * Inspect and endorse the Quality of own work to ensure it meets the required specification * Represent own work area seeking and providing information to meet needs in a professional manner * Liasing with TTS and Customers throughout task from planning to completion * Carry out formal and informal on the Job training to colleagues within skill base * Work within the requirements of the Company Craft Framework ensuring high behavioural Standards * Act on behalf as TTS in accordance with letter of Appointment * Pro-active in ensuring general house keeping within work areas are kept to a high standard, including maintenance of own equipment and storage management as appropriate * Encourage others to help maintain these standards * Carry out support activities necessary to ensure delivery of prescribed tasks * Act as Modification Manager on changes relating to maintenance * Participate in Company Improvement activities to ensure workplace safety & performance are communicated within team. Responsibilities * To ensure that responsibilities with regard to the Company's Environment, Health, Safety, Security and Quality Standards are met and understood * Understand and apply responsibilities with regard to the Company's Environment, Health, Safety, Security and Quality Standards * Keep up to date with development in field of expertise * Ensure own and teams work and quality meets as a minimum that required by the Company Maintenance Manual and Facility requirements * Encourage innovative thinking where a given problem requires it.
