Field Sales Engineer- Global Distribution Company Location - North Yorkshire and East Riding £25k - £35k + Bonus + Toyota Avensis + Pension + 21 days + Laptop + Mobile The Company A leading engineering company with a multi billion pound turnover who are an Engineering Services Supplier into multiple sectors. The company is on course to achieve double digit growth this year. Due to a recent promotion within the organisation, they are now looking to recruit an additional Field Sales Engineer to cater for the growing market demands. The Role • You will have overall responsibility for generating sales revenues from allocated accounts within a given territory • Generate orders from existing accounts, looking to tie them in with a strong commercial offering • You will identify new relationships that will increase the Branch Portfolios • You will understand customer needs and devise engineering solutions • You will inherit a patch that is currently turning over 650k, which you will expect to grow by 10% in the first year of employment. • Prioritise product offers based on customer needs and ensure full portfolio of products is offered. • A typical week for the Field Sales Engineer will encompass, 4 days out on the road visiting new and existing customers and the other day in the Branch carrying out all admin work. The ideal Field Sales Engineer will have the following: • Technical Sales Experience either selling a mechanical, electrical or electronic product • Professional Qualification - HNC/HND • Excellent verbal, communication and presentational skills are a pre-requisite.
