Engineering | Our client, a leading Engineering & Management Contractor engaged in a new five year Onshore Pipelines Rehabilitation project now need a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join them in Abu Dhabi.This will cover over 160 onshore Oil & Gas pipelines & flowlines with diameters ranging from 8 - 48 inch and associated facilities such as Pump and compressor stations, in a desert environment, involving internal and external rehabilitation.You will be involved in: -Determining the best way to rehabilitate the pipeline above ground installations ( AGI's ) and associated facilities, to include; -Analysis of movement to recommended practice API 1117. -Economic/cost analysis of upgrading. -Preparing project specifications. -Performing the necessary engineering calculations to ensure safe practice. -Ensuring health & safety issues are resolved. -Liaison with Field and Inspection personnel. -Evaluation of defects and selection of proper repair techniques.
