As a result of recent Contract awards they are looking for a Commercial Manager (Build) to join their Construction division, working on schemes through out the Midlands, Oxfordshire and Northamptonshire areas. Although greater travel may be required on occasions. This is an exciting managerial role giving the successful candidate the opportunity to work within the Commercial construction and Solar Energy market An excellent commercial construction background is required. This is an office based role visiting sites on a weekly basis. You will report Directly to the Managing Director and be responsible for duties such as; -Management of KPI`s -Risk analysis Contractual issues -collation and verification of monthly/cumulative costs -Liaising with Cost Consultants and Professionals. -Financial analysis -Management of Junior QS`s. You will be a Qualified Quantity Surveyor ideally to BSc level. Have worked on projects within the Commercial sectors. Be an excellent communicator, efficient and with a positive approach. Be able to oversee construction projects to £10m.
