Position: CNC Engineer/ Programmer Rate: £13 - 15 per hour - Ltd Company Location: West Midlands Duration: 3-6 Month contract Apply to: The Background A leading automotive engineering company based in the West Midlands is looking for the next addition to their team to support new product introduction. The Role This exciting position requires a multi skilled individual who can support the achievement of Production department objectives by ensuring that CNC resources are available, efficient and capable through the application of lean techniques. You As the CNC Engineer, you'll devise, write and enter CNC programmes for new projects and develop programmes for existing jobs to achieve cost reductions and OEE improvements. Being the CNC Engineer, you'll aid Team Members to overcome day to day problems with fixtures / tooling on CNC equipment. You'll have full working knowledge of programming Fanuc CNC's. In conjunction with Product Manager you'll prepare training plans and conduct training of Team Members so they can operate machines, install tools and set up machines also to make programme adjustments to achieve part dimensional requirements.
