Electrical Wind Service Technician - Industrial Wind Turbines - Denbigh, North Wales - £26-28K + On Call + OT = £40K OTE


Global Power and Industrial Engineering service provider are seeking an experienced Electrical Wind Service Technician to join its existing service team in North Wales. The company are renowned for their high standards of maintenance delivery, excellent on call service response and focus on health and safety!

The Role:

• Carry out planned maintenance and inspection activities on onshore industrial wind turbines.

• Electrical fault finding and fault rectification.

• Adherence to strict turbine safety procedures and documentation.

• Minimise turbine downtime by prioritising works.

• Fill in reports, safety documentation and all relevant paperwork.


The Person:

• Qualifications - Time Served Electrical Engineering qualification, C&G Electrical or NVQ in Electrical Engineering.

• Must have had at least two years experience fault finding, fault rectification and problem solving

• Must have had at least two years experience reading electrical schematics and diagrams and performing wind turbine maintenance and repair.

• May have worked on Wind Turbines such as: Vestas (V47 or V52), Repower, Siemens, Gamesa, Enercon and/ or Acciona.
