Technical Lead / Project Lead / Project Manager - 12 Month Contract - Warwickshire

Amoria Bond urgently requires an experienced Mechanical Technical Lead Engineer to join one of our key clients based in Warwickshire for contract opportunity that will last until mid 2014. Our client, a leader in new technology for the rotating machinery sector and is looking to cover a vacancy with a contractor competent enough to cover the remainder of the project time line.

A flexitime system is on offer with overtime also available should the successful engineer wish to partake. The pay rates are flexible based on your skill set but is market competitive.

Requirements:
- Strong Mechanical Engineering Experience within a Project Management or Technical Leadership Role
- Aero / Marine / Naval / Power and Energy or Renewables Background Preffered
- A Good Mechanical Engineering Degree or Similar is Preffered
- A Broad Knowledge Across The Mechanical Engineering Disciplines Would be Desirable (aero, thermal, stress, structures etc).
-Mechanical Design and System Engineering Experience Would be Beneficial. (CAD not needed.)
- Experience within R&D Experimental Test Facilities Would be Desirable.

Role:
Working within the R&D Testing & Validation division of the business you will be responsible for the technical lead of a multi-million pound facility upgrade project. You will be assessing technical requirements, defining workpackages, writing specifications and communicating with technical specialists, suppliers and internal stakeholders. You will also be expected to maintain project control over the workpackages, reporting progress to both line management and the internal governance structure.
