Spinwell Global is working with an International Petrochemical Company and has been commissioned to recruit a Process Engineer for a MeOH Plant to be located in Saudi Arabia. Preference would be given to the candidates having direct experience on MeOH technologies
Duties & Responsibilities :-
" Supervises jobs of Process Engineers and guides as required.
" Play a key role in the process optimization function.
" Work closely with other departments related in implementing plant improvements.
" Provides process support for safe and trouble free operations of the units.
" Identifies process-related problems and plans suitable cost effective solutions
" Key contributor for reducing operating costs through innovative techniques
" Reviews plant modifications, new catalysts, chemicals
" Recommends timing, schedule and reviews performance of catalyst replacement. Reviews guarantees are met.
" Reviews existing technology and develops case for revamp and expansion plans or installation of new facilities to achieve overall improvement in plant performance and productivity.
" Active participant in the profit improvement programme (PIP), project steering teams, in-house HAZOP reviews, task force teams and incident investigation committees.
" Assist management in setting technical objectives for process improvement.
" Acts as a resource of training and development activities and programs for the Process Engineering department.
" Identify and resolve quality, production and technical issues.
" Provide technical recommendations and solutions for problems that impact the reliability, efficiency or operability of the facility.
" Mentoring responsibilities of the fresh National graduate engineers.
Qualifications:
" Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering from a reputed Western University.
" Minimum 10 years of experience in Methanol Plant.
" Hands on experience on custom made process engineering simulation software packages i.e. Aspen Plus, Aspen Hysys, EDR etc
" Good understanding of Process Engineering and Project Management skills.
" Good understanding of Process Engineering budget and Economic evaluation skills.
" Must have leadership skills and ability to understand problems and resolving skills.
" Superior planning and organizational skills required.
" Must have knowledge and aptitude about project management.
