Spinwell Global is working with a multinational engineering consultancy and has been tasked to recruit a Lead C&I Engineer for their Power Division to be based in Switzerland. As Lead C&I Engineer you are responsible for the design of instrumentation and control systems for power plants. The work includes the development of concepts, feasibility studies, projects and tenders for new construction and remodelling projects. Your area of responsibility also include the specification preparation for I & C equipment including communications equipment (telephone, Kamara systems, networking, speakers, access control), the block diagrams and verification as specified for the DCS suppliers, creating the system architecture, tag lists, evaluation of subcontractor offers and supplier recommendations. During the execution phase, you create the construction documents and monitor acceptance, inspection and commissioning. you manage the interfaces with electrical, process engineering and mechanical parts of the project and it is your task to understand the context to represent complex projects. As Lead C&I Engineer, you will have a degree in engineering and experience in the design of instrumentation and control systems for power plants. You also have good knowledge in process technology and in working with R & I diagrams (P & IDs).In the field generators and substations to bring basic knowledge. Through your previous work activity you are familiar with projects from the power plant area. Good English & German speaking & writing skills are required; any additional foreign language is an advantage. As part of the project work you have to be used provided for short stays abroad.
