You'll be responsible for producing concept designs for bespoke hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical applications across many different industries including oil and gas and water. You'll liaise with different departments undertaking some project engineering tasks and being self-sufficient, therefore getting on with the job at hand, keeping to deadlines, and working within cost, quality and delivery constraints. To fulfil these requirements you must have the following skills / experience: *Experience of designing from customer specifications using 2D & 3D design - AutoCAD and Solidworks preferably *Experience of hand calculations, Mathcad would be desirable *Experience of running your own project from initial concept through to completion *Understanding and experience of fabrication and assembly drawings *Understanding of ISO9001, ISO14001 and API standards *Understanding of FEA Analysis The successful Mechanical Design Engineer will be offered the opportunity to join a leading organisation that works across the world.
