Graduate RF & Microwave Sales Engineer Profile for job 8237 2D AB - Graduate RF & Microwave Sales Engineer Based in Surrey commutable from Reading, Hampshire, Berkshire, Bracknell and West London Up to £25,000 basic, pension, healthcare and 28 days annual leave ATA Recruitment is once again working with a leading supplier of RF & Microwave components and subsystems which are used in a whole raft of industries ranging from Military, Telecommunications, Satellite and Industrial applications. As part of their plans to organically grow their business, they now need to recruit a self-motivated and outgoing Graduate Sales RF & Microwave Engineer that they can train and progress into a full time RF & Microwave Field Sales Application Engineer. This is a unique opportunity to join a business boasting global sales in excess of $200m with the UK contributing approximately £10m. The role of the Graduate RF & Microwave Sales Engineer will be as follows: 1. Your initial 6 months will be spent training (technical and commercial) 2. After a successful 18 months training, your role will become a field based RF & Microwave Sales Engineer spending up to 4 days per week face to face visiting customers 3. Your role will be to seek out new opportunities and to specify my client's unique range of Microwave Components. You will inherit $2.5m worth of accounts to grow and manage 4. You will be working very heavily on specifications and tenders acting as both a commercial and technical RF & Microwave Sales Engineer 5. Your role will be to support all prospective clients on new designs and to become embedded with them ensuring my client becomes their trusted RF & Microwave supplier 6. Proposal and writing specifications will form a key aspect of your role 7. Extensive travel throughout the UK and Europe 8. Seeking new projects and design wins with leading businesses within the Military, Defence, and Industrial market sectors 9. Providing samples and trials including all follow up reports and documentation 10. Maximising on all sales opportunities and margins where possible 11. Your role will be very heavily supported by the internal Technical & Sales RF Engineers allowing you the time to become more customer facing and focussing on the key aspects of your role - Winning Business 12. Price and contractual negotiations Experience & background: 1. You must possess a degree in Applied Physics, Electronics or RF & Microwave Engineering 2.
