Principal Consultant - Hydrogeologist

Our client is seeking an experienced Principal Hydrogeologist who will manage an interesting mix of technical workload, including an opportunity to work on some of the largest groundwater studies in the UK.

Key client sectors include water regulator (EA), water companies, mines and quarries, power including nuclear and renewables.

Main responsibilities would be project management and delivery, and business development.

The role is particularly suited to an innovative thinker with a strong technical capability.

The role has access to extensive support from a large team of fellow hydrogeologists and modellers, working alongside other environmental and engineering disciplines.

BSc Geology, geography, earth/environmental sciences or equivalanent

MSc and/or PhD Hydrogeology, earth/environmental sciences, civil engineering or similaror equivalent

Project Management; Project Delivery; Technical Direction; Sector/Business Development

Numerical hydrogeologist also with experience of the practical aspects of hydrogeological assessments - working in a range of environments (water resources, contaminant transport, dewatering etc).

Strong project management and project delivery experience. Some international experience valued.

Capability to develop new opportunities through proposals and building client relationships
