Senior Consultant - Environmental Management

Our client is currently seeking an ambitious and dynamic Senior/Principal Consultant to join their Environmental Management and Compliance team in London.

The successful applicant would be responsible for business development, bid preparation, project management and delivery and working with the team across our client's range of projects.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, confident, self-motivated and dynamic with excellent verbal and written communication ability together with the following essential skills:
Previous proven experience within a professional consultancy environment or as part of an in-house environment/sustainability team.
Degree in environmental sciences, environment and business or other relevant topic
Good knowledge of relevant UK and European legislation.
Background and experience in developing and auditing environmental management systems
A good knowledge of specifically ISO 14001
Proven track record in business development or other communication skills
Experience of working with and across a large team

In addition, to the above it would be beneficial to be able to demonstrate the following desirable skills:
 Experience of developing and delivering environmental management and auditor training
A good knowledge of integrated and/or health and safety management systems
Associate IEMA membership
