Site Manager (Wind Farms) – Northern England, Scotland, Northern Ireland
Location: Northern England
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 + Car + Travel + Package
About the role:
An exciting new opportunity has arisen for the suitable candidate to join a multi-million organisation on their wind farm projects in the North of the UK. Although prior experience on wind farms is not essential, successful applicants should come from a background within either Civils (ie. managing the build of bridges and lifting processes), Telecoms/Power (managing the lifting/erection of pylons, power lines, etc.).
There are a number of positions available working across Scotland, Northern England and Northern Ireland. You will be working on Wind Farm construction works as part of a multifaceted team. You will be reporting in to the Project Manager and will be responsible for managing the construction of the client’s facilities from start to completion.
The position is open to applicants from any area within the UK as the client covers travel to site. If you live within the region and can commute, then a car will be provided for daily travel to site and back. If you live outside of the region, then you can be based from a home location but will be required to stay on site for several weeks at a time and will then be reimbursed travel home for a a period of downtime.
About the applicant:
You are required to have SMSTS as a minimum and experience of managing the lifting of heavy equipment (bridges, telecom/power pylons, etc.) Experience within wind farms is not essential though would be desirable. A full clean UK driving license is also required for this position.
Please note you must be eligible to live and work in the UK to apply for this position
