My client is looking for an experienced and competent Lead Planning Engineer to work on a large new build CCGT Power Plant in Thailand. Overview: This position is accountable for:- *Support to project management by providing project schedules which support the entire project cycle from detailed design to commissioning. *Systematic implementation of project controls: planning, base lining, monitoring, updating, analysing, forecasting and reporting project information. *Additionally should be able to develop a detailed schedule for the execution phase covering all design, procurement, and installation/construction and commissioning of the power plant. *Maintaining records for contractual aspects, monitoring and record variations. *Keep the management team appraised of all schedule and planning aspects. * Plan and conduct regular meetings with progress reports. Qualifications:- *Degree qualified (Engineering or related) *5 years or more as a Planning Engineer with previous experience of working upon several new large power projects. *Good knowledge of Primavera and similar software tools required * English and other languages spoken are desirable.
