C&I Engineer/Service Engineer - Gas Monitoring/Power. Farnham, Surrey Salary - Up to £30K DOE + Bonus, Call Out, Van and Benefits. Introduction... Our client is one of the UK's leading providers of Gas Monitoring Equipment, providing in-house design, manufacture and integration of complete turnkey solutions which includes their own Data Acquisition Software and UK wide Servicing. They are urgently seeking a skilled Service Engineer with experience in Gas Monitoring/Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems to be based in Southern England. What You Will Be Doing... As a market leader providing over 60% of the UK's Power and Energy sector the Service Engineer will be responsible for all Installation, Commissioning and Maintenance of the companies CEMS Gas Monitoring Equipment on client sites. These will typically be Large Industrial Plants where the Service Engineer will be liaising with other client Operations and Maintenance Engineers to ensure the optimum performance of the CEMS equipment and providing any technical support as required, helping the client meet regulatory requirements including Waste Incineration (WID) and Large Combustion Plant Directives (LCPD). What You Will Need... o You MUST have previous Gas Monitoring Systems and Equipment experience. Without this you will not be able to successful fulfil the requirements of the role. As this is an urgent requirement candidates must be able to hit the ground running. o HNC/HND (Or equivalent) in Electrical, Controls or Instrumentation Engineering. Mechanical Engineering may also be considered with the correct experience. o Good Fault Finding, Installation and Maintenance experience of Gas Monitoring Equipment. Similarly C&I type controls would be a good fit. o Good communication and customer service based interpersonal skills are essential as this is a client facing role.
