CAD Design Engineer Salary and Location £27-32K. Role based in Rugby, Warwickshire. Skilled CAD Design Engineer needed to join an internationally recognised organisation with over 125 years of experience in the field of power conversion. This is a fantastic opportunity for motivated CAD Design Engineer to join a fast-growing team working in a thriving industry. Role Description Working on a flexible shift basis, you will be responsible for creating 3D models of rotating machines and components and the associated 2D component and assembly drawings of rotating machines. This will entail developing a CAD work breakdown structure and product breakdown structure, working closely and in collaborations with procurement design and production engineering teams. It will also involve identifying opportunities for development, cost down, Value Analysis and Value Engineering (VAVE), and IP generation. Required Experience
Engineering education, preferably qualified to HND level or higher. Must have a good understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerance with relevant experience in the design and manufacture of large machinery, preferably in electrical machines. Experiences in ProEngineer/ AutoCAD. Self-motivated and have initiative to pro-actively solve complex problems.
