Project Engineer

Our Client – Are providers of professional, cost-effective solutions to ROV requirements and specialize in ROV Drill Support, IRM, Tooling and Construction Support.

Job Description – This is an office based position reporting to the Subsea Project Manager. The candidate will provide assistance with the organization and co-ordination of the technical aspects required by the project managers. Attending SITs and preparing detailed reports and making offshore site visits as required. Duties include, but are not limited to:

Responsible to deliver packages of work for engineering activities and technical assurance as agreed with the project manager.
Develop and co-ordinate Subsea designs and deliverables for various work packages including work associated with feasibility, conceptual and front end engineering studies.
Responsible for planning engineering activities within the overall project schedule, ensuring all activities and/or deliverables are identified.
Prepare and co-ordinate CTRs (or similar), and report progress in line with project procedures and develop project schedules.
Monitor and control the project budget and schedule in order to ensure targets are met.
To be fully familiar with all technical content of contracts within area of responsibility.
Visit operational sites (onshore and offshore) on an ad hoc basis at critical/key project milestones as agreed with the project manager.

Candidate Requirements –

Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Knowledge and experience of Subsea engineering.
Knowledge and experience of Subsea installation.
Subsea designs and deliverables including work associated with feasibility, conceptual and front end engineering studies
Offshore experience.
Cost control / budgeting.
MS Project.
Understanding of QHSE policies and practices. As well as in accordance company QHSE and procedures.
